UNC football commit Bryce Baker moves into top 100 of recruiting rankings

Following a big showing in the Elite 11, UNC football quarterback commit Bryce Baker has climbed the recruiting rankings.

North Carolina’s 2025 football recruiting class is off to a solid start with over six months until signing day. As Mack Brown and his staff continue to build this class, one prospect continues to raise his stock.

Quarterback Bryce Baker committed to UNC in the Summer of 2023 and since then, he’s climbed the recruiting rankings. The four-star quarterback is the future of the program at the position and after an impressive showing at the Elite 11 camp, he’s now moving up the recruiting rankings.

On3 has made an update to its On300 recruiting rankings for the 2025 cycle and climbing into the top 100 is Baker. The site ranked Baker No. 99 overall, holding his four-star ranking on the site. Here is what On3 had to say about Baker and his ranking:

North Carolina commit Bryce Baker (No. 99) makes a big move inside the top 100. Baker turned in a consistent showing at the Elite 11 Finals, showing a strong arm. Baker, who is a 1,000 point scorer in high school basketball, is a strong athlete at the position and plays with a creative playmaking style.

North Carolina has 12 commitments in the 2025 recruiting class which is still a top 50 class. They do have some big targets still left on their recruiting board and if players like Baker and others continue to get better, their class ranking should improve as well.
