Class of 2024 five-star recruit Ian Jackson is one of four commits for North Carolina in the 2024 cycle and already he’s cashing in on an NIL deal that involves the GOAT.
Jackson has struck a deal with New York City shoe store Extra Butter to help promote a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 titled “Skyline.” Jordan Brand has tagged Extra Butter as the first shop to launch the new colorway as the two sides are partners.
The “Skyline” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High OG pays tribute to a photo of Jordan doing the Jumpman pose in Chicago with the city’s skyline in the background, for an iconic photo. To help promote, Jackson was featured in this video and even a photo recreating the picture:

The shoe released exclusively at Extra Butter on Friday, March 31st and features a purple-to-pink gradient color scheme with white and black accents throughout.
Jackson won’t have to wait much longer to reap the benefits of being at a Jordan Brand school as UNC often receives player-exclusive retro Air Jordans.
