The spring AAU circuit is in full swing this weekend with three events across the country, and UNC recruits and targets are in action.
That includes five-star prospect Ian Jackson who is playing for New York Wiz Kids on the Adidas circuit in Omaha, Nebraska. And Jackson made a good first impression.
The guard scored 35 points in a game on Saturday, having a big performance for his team. He caught the attention of recruiting analyst Adam Finkelstein who noted some things about his game, including the length and passing ability.
Ian Jackson just went off for 35 points.
Dynamic in transition, guarded the length off the floor, got over ball-screens, made some jumpers, and even had a handful of nice passes.

Jackson is among the best prospects in the country and is in a loaded 2024 class for the Tar Heels. The five-star recruit is ranked No. 5 nationally on 247Sports but playing like this will certainly give him a bump up the rankings.
