UNC basketball to open up 2023-24 against Radford

The UNC basketball program will host Radford in the 2023-24 season opener in Chapel Hill.

The 2022-23 college baseball season is officially in the books with UConn claiming the national championship on Monday night and now the focus shifts to next season.

For the North Carolina Tar Heels, they want to forget about the disaster of a campaign they had where they missed the NCAA Tournament, becoming the first preseason No. 1 team to do so. But even though we are a long ways way from next season, we now know when the Tar Heels will open up the 2023-24 campaign.

The Tar Heels will open up their 2023-24 season will open up at home in the Dean Dome against Radford.

Following that November 6th game, the Tar Heels still have to add some more non-conference games to round out the schedule.

UNC will also play in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas again, a field that also includes Michigan, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Memphis, Stanford, Northern Iowa, and Villanova. The Tar Heels will take on Kentucky in the CBS Sports Classic and are scheduled to participate in the Jimmy V Classic in New York City, the Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte and the inaugural ACC-SEC Challenge.

The full schedule is expected to be finalized this Summer.
