The North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program will look to right the ship for the 2023-24 season after missing out on the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
With a new-look roster, Hubert Davis’ team is hoping to make another run similar to the 2021-22 season. And while we await the start of the season, we are getting more information on North Carolina’s schedule for 2023-24.
Davis mentioned in his summer press conference that the schedule should be released soon as they are finalizing some details. One of the details that is being figured out is confirmation of a neutral site game, which is likely the CBS Sports Classic and who UNC will face.
One thing that Davis noted is that the Tar Heels will also host an exhibition game on October 27th:
#UNC is close to announcing its non-conference men's basketball schedule but is awaiting confirmation of a neutral-site game. The Tar Heels will play an exhibition game on Oct. 27.

This is nothing new for the Tar Heels as they usually host a few exhibition games to get set for the new season.
It also sounds like the non-conference schedule could be coming out in the next week or so. The ACC schedule will also be released sometime this summer as well.
