UNC basketball recruiting target sets two official visits

Two programs will receive visits from a UNC basketball recruiting target in the 2025 class.

Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels are still building their 2025 recruiting board with prospects they are hoping to land. As the Tar Heels have several offers out to prospects, one of them is four-star forward Niko Bundalo.

The Ohio native earned an offer from UNC back in June as the Tar Heels want to land a wing for the 2025 class. But the Tar Heels will have some stiff competition in this recruiting battle.

Bundalo has a total of 34 offers with programs like Alabama, Illinois, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Penn State, Ohio State, and Texas among others in his recruitment. Now, Bundalo is setting visits to programs involved in his recruitment, and as of now, UNC does not have one scheduled.

Instead, Bundalo has set visits to UConn and Michigan State.

Bundalo will visit UConn beginning August 30th and then head to Michigan State for a visit on September 6th. He did take unofficial visits last year but these two visits will be the first for him in his recruitment.

He’s expected to take some more visits as his recruitment goes on and North Carolina could be a program that gets an official visit, and that’s something we should keep an eye on moving forward.

The 6-foot-11, 215-pound Bundalo is ranked No. 24 nationally, No. 7 power forward and the No. 1 player in the state of Ohio per the 247Sports recruiting rankings for the 2025 class.
