UNC basketball program releases pickup game photos from Tuesday

Current and former players all participated in Tuesday’s ‘camp game’ for the UNC basketball program.

The North Carolina Tar Heels don’t hit the basketball court until this Fall, but the Summer gives us a quick look at the upcoming roster through annual pickup games.

The annual Carolina pickup games have become a staple for the program in Chapel Hill with current and former players taking part during the Summer camps.  On Tuesday, the Tar Heels posted photos of the second camp game that took place in the Dean Dome, showcasing both current and former players.

Take a look at the photos below including Ian Jackson, Brady Manek, Cole Anthony, Danny Green, Justin Jackson, Luke Maye and more.

Former head coach Roy Williams was also in attendance, watching the game during the camp.

The program hasn’t released stats of the official game and probably won’t seeing that it was during a camp. But it’s still nice to see both the former and current players of the Carolina Family get together.

This also helps the current roster prepare for next season by getting some runs in against players. Although it’s a scrimmage, the current team was able to work together on the court during these games, which can still be valuable.
