The North Carolina Tar Heels won their third-straight game by beating Florida State on the road Monday night. With the win, North Carolina kept their slim NCAA Tournament chances alive.
There’s still work to do for the Tar Heels as a rematch with Duke looms on Saturday night. But the way UNC has played for the most part since the second half of the Notre Dame win is encouraging.
UNC made 11 three-pointers in the first half of Monday’s win, getting out to that a big 18-point lead. They did have to hold off a late surge by the Seminoles but in the end, a win is a win.
