UNC basketball offers five-star power forward in 2025 class

The UNC basketball program has offered five-star power forward Koa Peat in the 2025 class after watching him over the weekend.

Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball staff were busy this past weekend on the recruiting trail. With the AAU circuit heating up this spring, the Tar Heels had the opportunity to scout potential recruiting targets.

And after offering a five-star shooting guard, they have their eyes on a five-star power forward as well.  The Tar Heels have offered five-star power forward Koa Peat on Monday, making him the latest recruit to earn an offer from UNC in the 2025 class.

The offer for Peat comes a day after the Tar Heels offered five-star Darryn Peterson.

The 6-foot-8, 210-pound Peat is a Gilbert, Arizona product that is ranked No. 3 overall, the No. 3 power forward and No. 1 player in the state of Arizona per the 247Sports recruiting rankings. He now has 24 offers in his recruitment.

UNC has now offered three players in the 2025 class with Peat joining Peterson and Isiah Harwell.
