The UNC basketball staff is back on the recruiting trail here this Summer and they already have their eyes on a future prospect in the 2026 class. Despite not the 2024 and 2025 cycles not being over, the Tar Heels are starting to do some prep wok on the 2026 class.
Assistants from North Carolina were in attendance at the Rise Complex in Bermuda Run, North Carolina on Friday, and they watched 2026 recruit Cole Cloer who was playing in the event.
The 6-foot-6 Hillsborough, North Carolina native drew a crowd with NC State and Villanova having coaches in attendance as well.

While the 2026 class does not have rankings on 247Sports just yet, Cloer is a player to keep tabs on moving forward especially being an in-state prospect for the Tar Heels.
