Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels showed a little interest in a four-star recruit in the state of North Carolina. However, after watching Sadiq White a few times, the Tar Heels never offered.
Now, they are out of the running for the talented power forward.
The Charlotte native released his top schools list, cutting the field from 17 to seven. White took to X (formerly Twitter) to release the list: LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, Syracuse, Georgetown, Texas and Tennessee.
As you see, the list is very SEC-heavy. Just one Atlantic Coast Conference team, Syracuse, made the list.
NEWS: 2025 Top-25 prospect Sadiq White is down to seven schools, he tells @On3Recruits.

The 6-foot-8, 180-pound White is ranked No. 25 overall and No. 5 among power forwards nationally and No. 1 in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports.
The Tar Heels never offered White, so it wasn’t shocking to see them left off this list. The Tar Heels watched him at a few events and expressed some interest, but it never reached the level of serious interest.
