While Hubert Davis and North Carolina are putting most of the focus on the 2024 recruiting class with visits coming up, they are hosting a 2025 recruit for an unofficial visit this weekend.
Class of 2025 shooting guard Isiah Harwell has made the trip from Idaho to Chapel Hill for the weekend to take his official visit per Adam Zagoria of Zag’s Blog. Harwell will be there for the weekend and will be in attendance for the UNC football game against Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 180-pound guard is ranked just yet as there are no 2025 rankings on 247Sports but he’s ranked No. 8 on ESPN and is drawing a lot of interest so far from programs.

Harwell has a total of 11 offers in his recruitment with Baylor, Arizona State, Creighton, Kansas, Texas, Texas Tech, and UCLA among others. The Tar Heels are showing significant interest but have yet to offer the recruit.
That could change quickly after this visit and the Tar Heels are a legit contender in this recruitment. Harwell is a prospect we will certainly keep our eye on moving forward.
