[autotag]Simeon Wilcher[/autotag] is having himself a heck of a start to the annual Nike EYBL Peach Jam event.
After flirting with a triple-double in the opener and then dropping 30 points on Sunday, Wilcher was back at it again on Tuesday night and this time he helped his team rally to earn an overtime victory.
Wilcher had the key bucket late in City Rocks’ 79-76 win over Georgia Stars, draining a shot to give him 19 points on the game. The bucket sealed the deal for City Rocks and helped Wilcher keep his hot start going.
Before Simeon Wilcher’s huge dunk, City Rocks was down big in the 4th quarter to the Georgia Stars. They went on a crazy run afterwards, we go to OT, and Wilcher seals it here to give them a 79-76 win. He finished with 19 points.@SimeonWilcher @TheCityRocks @jhardy575 pic.twitter.com/Iu0oKZeyeR

The UNC commit also had a nasty dunk as Trent Markwith caught on video with Wilcher going down the lane and throwing it down:

Wilcher is really elevating his game here during the AAU circuit and as UNC’s lone commit in 2023 now that G.G. Jackson is gone, Tar Heels fans have to feel good about what they are seeing so far.
If Wilcher keeps this up, there’s no doubt he will climb recruiting rankings and improve on that five-star grade.
