Unbeaten Packers open week as slight road favorite against Buccaneers

The 4-0 Packers are road favorites against the Buccaneers to open Week 6.

The unbeaten Green Bay Packers are coming out of the bye week as road favorites against Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6.

Although many sportsbooks initially had the Packers as slight underdogs, BetMGM has Matt LaFleur’s team down as a two-point favorite to start this week, with an over/under of 51.5 points.

Several books opened with the Packers as much as 2.5-point underdogs, but lines have clearly shifted Green Bay’s way.

The Packers are coming off a much-needed bye week and will likely have receiver Davante Adams and defensive tackle Kenny Clark available. LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers are cooking on offense, as the Packers scored 30 or more points during each of their first four games and lead the NFL in points per game to start the season.

The Buccaneers are 3-2 and coming off a Thursday night loss in Chicago to the Bears. However, Bruce Arians’ team is 2-0 at home.

The Packers are 4-0 straight up and 4-0 against the spread in 2020.

The Packers were previously road underdogs in both Minnesota and New Orleans this season but covered the spread and won both games.
