Your friends at UGA Football Live and UGA Wire present your one-stop-shop podcast for all things Georgia football: “UGA Football Live with J.C. Shelton.”
Stats, analysis and interviews with some Georgia greats. We are here every week throughout the 2022 season with everything you need to be prepared for the Bulldogs’ matchups.
Gurley, Georgia’s fourth all-time leading rusher, was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams with the No. 10 overall pick in 2015 and earned Offensive Rookie of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, three Pro Bowl selections and three All-Pro selections with the Rams.
Gurley returned to Georgia on a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons in 2020, and is now working to give back to the Atlanta community in partnership with Gatorade by surprising members of the Salvation Army Bellwood Boys and Girls Club during their flag football practice on Thursday, October 20.
Gurley and Gatorade gave the Salvation Army Bellwood Boys and Girls Club a $25,000 grant to go towards the organization’s flag football program and to further fuel Gatorade’s goal of driving equity in sport.
Listen to Gurley breakdown the grant to the Salvation Army Bellwood Boys and Girls Club and reminisce on his Georgia career, why the Dawgs are ‘RBU’ and how the matchup with Florida is such an exciting rivalry.
