[autotag]Ricky Glenn[/autotag] wasted no time dispatching of [autotag]Joaquim Silva[/autotag] on Saturday at UFC on ESPN 25.
Glenn (22-6-1 MMA, 4-3 UFC), who returned to the octagon for the first time since November 2018 and moved up to lightweight from the featherweight division, found success early and often against Silva (11-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) for the first-round knockout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
After Silva recklessly rushed in on him early on, Glenn connected with multiple shots that led to knockdowns. He flurried on his hurt opponent, and referee Mike Beltran stopped the fight in just 37 seconds.

Glenn’s layoff was largely the product of hip surgery. He said post-fight that he did recovery the right way, and felt that hard work showed itself in his performance.
“I took care of my body after my hip surgery,” Glenn said in his in-cage interview with Michael Bisping. “I feel amazing. Finally happy and healthy. Taking everything seriously like I should.”
