“The Korean Zombie” hasn’t garnered a cult-like following because he’s boring – that’s for sure.
Regarded by many as one of the UFC roster’s most exciting fighters, any [autotag]Chan Sung Jung[/autotag] fight has become appointment viewing.
Coming off of 41-month layoff due in large part to South Korea’s mandatory military duties, Jung made his return to the UFC in February 2017. That night he showed the world he hadn’t skipped a beat.
In the UFC Fight Night 104 headliner, Jung faced off with featherweight contender Dennis Bermudez. In less than three minutes, “The Korean Zombie” finished Bermudez with strikes, ending the New Yorker’s two-fight win streak in the process.
Since that victory, Jung has split two fights. After losing a “Fight of the Year” candidate in the final second of the fight against Yair Rodriguez, “The Korean Zombie” stormed back in major fashion in June.
In the UFC on ESPN+ 12 headliner, Jung finished Renato Moicano by TKO in 58 seconds.

It’ll be a homecoming of sorts for Jung, as the fight takes place Sajik Arena in Busan, South Korea. The main card streams on ESPN+ after prelims air on ESPN.
