[autotag]Sergei Pavlovich[/autotag]’s run through the heavyweight division has been as scary as they come.
After dropping his debut against Alistair Overeem in 2018, Pavlovich (17-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) has picked up five consecutive first-round finishes, putting away all of his opponents in devastating fashion.
The latest casualty in this run was top contender Tai Tuivasa. The two fought this past December, as Pavlovich just needed 54 seconds to dispatch him and earn himself a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

Pavlovich returns to the cage this Saturday when he takes on top contender Curtis Blaydes in the main event of UFC Fight Night 222. The card takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card streams on ESPN+.
