On the UFC Fight Night 246 main card Saturday at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Stoltzfus (16-6 MMA, 3-5 UFC) notched a violent knockout of Barriault (16-9 MMA, 5-8 UFC) at 4:28 of Round 1.

The finishing sequence started and ended in a dirty boxing clinch. Barriault seemed to be the aggressor, eagerly engaging Stoltzfus in the position. Stoltzfus obliged him, and a massive right hand smoked Barriault unconscious.

Barriault flopped to the canvas and absorbed two more massive shots, much to the dismay of his home country crowd.

The victory reentered Stoltzus into the win column and moved him to 3-3 in his most recent six outings, alternating results throughout. Saturday’s win was the third knockout victory of his career.

Barriault falls into a three-fight skid with the loss. It marked the third knockout/TKO loss of his career.
