[autotag]Bruno Silva[/autotag] sure made a good case for a fight night bonus on Saturday.
The Brazilian put away [autotag]Victor Rodriguez[/autotag] just one minute into their flyweight bout on the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night 188 in Las Vegas.
Silva (12-5-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) connected with a knee to Rodriguez (7-4 MMA, 0-2 UFC) early in the round, which stunned the Mexican fighter. From there, Silva threw a mean straight right hand that sent Rodriguez straight to the canvas. It was a quick night at the office for Silva.

The former LFA champion is now on a two-fight wining streak after having a rough start in the UFC. Silva joined the organization in late 2019. He suffered a loss in his debut, which later was overturned to a no contest. Silva would then lose his next two bouts by decision, just to bounce back with two stoppage victories.
Silva called out fellow flyweight Rogerio Bontorin, who picked up a win last week at UFC 262.
“I want to fight Bontorin from Brazil,” Silva said. “He just fought last week. Let’s fight, bring them hands. I’m ready.”
