UFC featherweights [autotag]Danny Chavez[/autotag] and [autotag]Ricardo Ramos[/autotag] will look to rebound when they square off in June.
Chavez (11-4-1 MMA, 1-1-1 UFC) meets Ramos (15-4 MMA, 6-3 UFC) June 18 at UFC Fight Night from Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The main card airing on ESPN2 after prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.
Two people with knowledge of the booking informed MMA Junkie of the matchup Monday but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
Since beating TJ Brown in his promotional debut at UFC 252 in August 2020, Chavez has dropped a unanimous decision to Jared Gordon, followed by a majority draw against Kai Kamaka at UFC on ESPN 28 last July.
Meanwhile, Ramos has lost two of his past three. After beating Bill Algeo at UFC Fight Night 188, the 26-year-old Brazilian was defeated by Zubaira Tukhugov at UFC 267 this past October in Abu Dhabi.
