[autotag]Da’Mon Blackshear[/autotag] and [autotag]Luan Lacerda[/autotag] will battle it out June 3 with the victor picking up their first promotional win. The UFC Fight Night event is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Two people with knowledge of the booking recently informed MMA Junkie of the matchup but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

Blackshear (12-5-1 MMA, 0-1-1 UFC) debuted in August and drew against Youssef Zalal. He returned for his second UFC outing at UFC 285 in March and lost a unanimous decision to Farid Basharat. Prior to his UFC signing, Blackshear was a CFFC bantamweight champion.

Lacerda (12-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) rode a 10-fight submission streak into his promotional debut at UFC 283 in January. Lacerda jumped right into the deep end of the bantamweight pool against Cody Stamann and was defeated by unanimous decision. Lacerda trains under Andre Pederneiras, the legendary Brazilian coach of Jose Aldo and others.
