LAS VEGAS – The first [autotag]Charles Oliveira[/autotag] vs. [autotag]Dustin Poirier[/autotag] faceoff is in the books ahead of Saturday’s UFC 269 lightweight title fight.
At the conclusion of Thursday’s pre-fight press conference, Oliveira (31-8 MMA, 19-8 UFC) and Poirier (28-6 MMA, 20-5 UFC) engaged in a staredown that helped build the hype toward their anticipated championship clash.

Both men were respectful yet intense as they locked eyes for the record-setting contest, which headlines the final numbered UFC event of the year.
UFC 269 takes place at T-Mobile Arena. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
