LAS VEGAS – One of the most anticipated featherweight title fights in UFC history is official after [autotag]Alexander Volkanovski[/autotag] and [autotag]Brian Ortega[/autotag] made weight for UFC 266.
At Friday’s official UFC 266 weigh-ins, reigning champion Volkanovski (22-1 MMA, 9-0 UFC) and challenger Ortega (15-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) had no issues on the scale and successfully hit their marks for the main event.
Volkanovski, who is looking to make his second title defense after back-to-back wins over Max Holloway, was first to step on the scale and registered at 144.5 pounds. Ortega took no risks and hit 144 pounds for his second UFC championship opportunity.

UFC 266 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view (10 p.m. ET) following prelims on ESPNews and ESPN+.
