[autotag]Ilia Topuria[/autotag]’s rise in the UFC continues.
The featherweight prospect racked up yet another win inside the octagon, this time stopping veteran Ryan Hall in the preliminary card of Saturday’s UFC 264 in Las Vegas. Topuria (11-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) scored a knockout at the 4:47 of Round 1.
The 24-year-old fought cautious for the majority of the fight, but delivered heavy blows when the opportunity presented itself. Topuria did a great job at avoiding Hall’s (8-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) attempts to engage in his leg lock attacks, while also pressing Hall.
In a short grappling exchange towards the end of the round, Topuria followed Hall to the ground and dropped heavy ground-and-pound to put away the jiu-jitsu expert. It was a clean and dominant showing by “El Matador.”

With this result, Topuria remained unbeaten in his professional MMA career. The Climent Club fighter joined the UFC in October 2020 and since has picked up a decision win and two stoppage victories.
