UFC 264 flashback videos: See how Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier have evolved on camera the past decade

The UFC 264 headliner features two of the biggest stars in the sport in Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier, who meet in a trilogy fight.

Next week’s UFC 264 headliner features two of the biggest stars in the sport.

[autotag]Conor McGregor[/autotag], it could be argued, is the biggest star in MMA history. And [autotag]Dustin Poirier[/autotag] has gone from contender to champ-level to must-see TV, himself.

These days, McGregor is known as one of the brashest talkers in the game – a larger-than-life persona who also happens to be one of the world’s wealthiest athletes. And Poirier, while fairly clearly on the humbler side of the line compared to McGregor, is no slouch at expressing himself, either.

But there was a time when they were mere babies in the MMA world and still finding their footing in front of the camera. Still, glimpses of what they’d become were there when they were about to have their second UFC fights.

On June 10, McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) rematches Poirier (27-6 MMA, 19-5 UFC) in a trilogy rubber match at UFC 264 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.

Ahead of that highly anticipated showdown, take a look at some vintage interviews with Poirier and McGregor in the videos below.
