UFC 261 Hall vs. Weidman: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Hall 17-9 | Weidman 15-5

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

WEIDMAN (-135) has registered seven finishes in the middleweight division, tied for seventh among all fighters. And the veteran has 11 wins in the division, which also ranks in the Top 10.

On the flip side, Hall doesn’t check off many of those boxes, but he does get finishes. He has seven KO/TKO wins, second-most in the division to just Thiago Santos.

As long as Weidman can avoid the big blow, he will get his arm raised. Remember, he also has 42 takedowns landed, leading the division by five more than the next competitor.

Over/Under (O/U)

Play UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (-115), as a finish is expected. He is a great play on the 5-way line for method of victory, so also look to WEIDMAN BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+310) for a chance to triple up.

I also like a two-round block for the win, so take WEIDMAN IN ROUND 1 (+725) and WEIDMAN IN ROUND 2 (+900) for a couple of small-unit wagers.

If he gets the finish in either of the two rounds, you will lose one end, but you’ll be well ahead.
