LAS VEGAS – UFC champions [autotag]Jan Blachowicz[/autotag] and [autotag]Israel Adesanya[/autotag] came face to face for the final time ahead of UFC 259 on Saturday, and both men seemed incredibly focused.
After making weight on Friday morning, Blachowicz (27-8 MMA, 10-5 UFC) and Adesanya (20-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) had a final staredown before they are in the cage for the sixth champion-vs.-champion fight in UFC history.
Both men were locked in but respectful, as reigning light heavyweight titleholder Blachowicz will attempt to start his run as champion off by turning back middleweight kingpin Adesanya, who looks to become the fifth fighter in UFC history to hold belts in two divisions simultaneously.
