UFC 250: Cody Garbrandt drops Raphael Assuncao with a perfectly timed KO at the horn

Daniel Cormier lost it after this buzzer-beater KO.

Sean O’Malley thought he had locked up a $50,000 bonus with his first-round walk away knockout at UFC 250, but Cody Garbrandt delivered a jaw-dropping finish a few hours later against Raphael Assuncao to potentially steal away the performance of the night honors.

Just a split second before the horn sounded for the end of the second round, Garbrandt dropped Assuncao with a devastating right hook. Assuncao hit the canvas as the horn sounded for a perfect walk-off finish for Garbrandt, who snapped a three-fight losing streak and picked up his first victory since UFC 207 in 2016. This is the highlight fighters dream of.
