It’ll be Russia vs. Brazil in Las Vegas.
Bantamweights [autotag]Movsar Evloev[/autotag] and [autotag]Douglas Silva de Andrade[/autotag] collide March 7 at UFC 248, the promotion officially announced in an Instagram post Wednesday. The fight was originally reported by various Russian media sources and social media accounts earlier this week.
Both Evloev (12-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Silva de Andrade (26-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) are riding victories in their most recent outings. At UFC on ESPN+ 20 in October, Evloev defeated Enrique Barzola by unanimous decision. Picking up a unanimous decision nod of his own, Silva de Andrade defeated Renan Barao at UFC on ESPN+ 22 in November.
UFC 248 takes place March 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.
