UCLA’s Ramon Henderson stock ‘way up’ after Week 1 win

Ramon Henderson impressed in Week 1.

The UCLA Bruins defense is one piece of the puzzle that could make or break things in the dangerous Big Ten Conference.

In Week 1 against Hawaii, the UCLA defense allowed just 13 points, although it was still a close game with the offense fizzling.

One player who impressed in Week 1 was Ramon Henderson, as Rodney Knuppel of College Sports Wire mentioned.

Ramon Henderson looked great for a defense that was strong all game long. The Bruins allowed just 13 points in the game. They got five sacks, with Henderson coming up with one of them. He had four tackles in the game, but his interception was big time. It also came at a massive spot in the game. His stock went way up after game 1.

Henderson is another Notre Dame transfer just like Rico Flores Jr.. Henderson played four seasons with the Irish and played in 23 games the past two seasons before coming to Westwood.

Now, he is a star on the defense and a big part of what that group hopes to accomplish in 2024. Let’s see if it continues for Henderson.
