The UCLA Bruins and Arizona Wildcats will no longer be conference opponents. Arizona is off to the Big 12 and UCLA is moving to the Big Ten, so the rivalry appears to be nearing an end.
However, UCLA and Arizona finalized a deal to play each other over the next few seasons, as a report stated recently from Jon Rothstein. Now, there is an official date: December 14 in Phoenix at the Footprint Center, per Jeff Goodman.
“Arizona will play UCLA at the Footprint Center in Phoenix on Dec. 14 in the Naismith Hall of Fame Series, source told @TheFieldOf68.”
The game will be a part of the Naismith Hall of Fame Series, something Arizona has been a part of in recent years.
Fans certainly were hoping that UCLA and Arizona could continue to face one another in college basketball, and they will do so now with this series over the next few years, at least.
