The UCLA Bruins women’s basketball team made easy work of No. 18 Utah on Thursday night. As the Utes came to town, UCLA steamrolled Utah, 82-52, as they won their second straight game.
Londynn Jones was the leading scorer for UCLA, scoring 23 points on 8-12 from the field. Lauren Betts had 14 points and Kiki Rice and Charisma Osborne each had 13 in another balanced effort from Cori Close’s team.
After a win over Oregon, UCLA made a statement win against Utah. Perhaps the most eye-popping stat line was Angela Dugalic, who had seven points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
Utah had just 25 points in the first half while UCLA had 25 in the first quarter aloe. The Bruins entered halftime with a 39-25 lead, and Utah was held to only nine points in the third quarter.
Alissa Pili had 20 points and was 10-10 from the free-throw line.
UCLA’s next game is against Colorado in Los Angeles on Monday night in another top-15 showdown.
