Everyone is wondering what will happen on November 17, when the University of California Board of Regents meets to make a final decision on UCLA’s future and how to handle both the Bruins and their relationship to the University of California at Berkeley.
Jon Wilner addressed the fact that Bill Walton recently spoke out against UCLA’s move to the Big Ten Conference:
“Walton issued a statement about the move that was critical of UCLA administration, then offered a passionate, detailed explanation of his views on ‘Canzano and Wilner: The Podcast.’ (It was Walton as you’ve never heard him: passionate but serious and deeply saddened by the development.)
“Whether he has additional plans to discuss the issue in public, I cannot say. You’d have to ask him.”
