UCLA transfer EDGE Mitchell Agude considers commitment to Oregon Ducks

UCLA’s senior edge rusher Mitchell Agude is strongly considering a transfer to the Ducks. Agude was voted second-team all-conference by Pac-12 coaches in 2021.

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are staying active in the transfer portal, this time with senior edge rusher Mitchell Agude, a former UCLA Bruin who entered the portal earlier this year.

Agude was dealing with a leg injury for much of the 2021 season but was selected by the Pac-12 coaches as a second-team all-conference performer, racking up 54 tackles, 6.5 tackles-for-loss, two sacks, and four forced fumbles. In his career with UCLA, he has 14.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and 6 forced fumbles.

When releasing his top-4 on Tuesday, Agude included the Ducks alongside the Washington Huskies, Miami Hurricanes, and Tennessee Volunteers. If Agude were to make the transfer up to Eugene, he would be joining teammate Chase Cota, who committed to the Ducks last week.
