UCLA is going to be looking sharp on Saturday in its homecoming game against Colorado.
The Bruins announced Monday that they’ll be wearing 1950s-style throwback powder blue jerseys that feature white old-school lettering. We saw a similar version of these throwback jerseys worn by the Bruins in 2009.
Per the Los Angeles Daily News, UCLA will also be unveiling a statue of former Bruins player and longtime head coach Terry Donahue outside of the Rose Bowl on Friday.
At least in my opinion, Colorado is due for a throwback uniform game this year with it being Folsom Field’s 100th season. The Buffs have only two remaining home games to do so, however.
Kickoff between the Buffs and Bruins is set for 5:30 p.m. MT (4:30 p.m. PT) on ABC. UCLA announced last week that tickets are sold out.
