The transfer portal is busy and the UCLA Bruins are wasting no time after missing out on the NCAA Tournament. They have already reached out to a handful of players, including Rutgers big man Cliff Omuruyi.
Now, they have also been in contact with Michigan transfer Tarris Reed, per Joe Tipton of On3. Reed has also heard from the following schools: Georgetown, Arkansas, Kansas State, Providence, Ole Miss, Pitt, Mizzou, Penn State, Oregon, Northwestern, Boise State, Davidson, Miss State, loan, Memphis, LSU, Nebraska, Xavier, Memphis, and SMU.
The talented sophomore averaged nine points with 7.2 rebounds for the Wolverines. Michigan moved on from Juwan Howard after the season but then hired Florida Atlantic head coach Dusty May as his replacement over the weekend, so it will be interesting to see if May can convince Reed to stay in Ann Arbor.
The Michigan big man would be a huge addition for UCLA for next year and beyond.
