UCLA RB commit Karson Cox gets bump in recruiting rankings

Karson Cox also moves up the rankings.

The Bruins offense of the future is starting to shape up. This week, one of the Bruins best commitments of the year got a bump in the recruiting ranks.

Four-star running back Karson Cox is now ranked as the 32nd-best prospect in California and the 28th-best at his position. Cox, who stands at 6′ and 190 pounds, is already built for the next level in college football.

The Oak Hills High School running back from Hesperia, California, is a talented back with great explosiveness at the line of scrimmage and true break-away speed. Operating mostly from the shotgun in a spread offense, Cox’s skills will likely be in line with new offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy’s style.

With Cox and Madden Iamaleava both committed to the Bruins in the class of 2025, the Bruins have the making of a talented offense coming down the pipe. If they can secure a few more big-name recruits this season, they could have a truly great offense in the future.
