The good energy surrounding the UCLA Bruins only keeps continuing to grow.
With DeShaun Foster being announced as the new head coach of the Bruins over the weekend and his introductory press conference taking place earlier this week, there is new excitement for football in Westwood.
A video posted by the UCLA Football X account shed light on what Foster said to his players after being introduced to them as their head coach.
In the inspirational video, Foster addresses his team, saying, “Y’all know what I’m about, right? It’s discipline, respect, and enthusiasm. Those are my pillars. That’s how we’re going to operate. Just believe in me the way I believe in y’a’ll.”

The UCLA Bruins’ former running back and UCLA Athletics Hall of Famer now assumes the head coaching position of the team that he treasures.
Reunited with his program, it is clear Foster is ready to get to work and mend the relationship between the players and the program following a tense past few weeks.
Foster closed his statement to the players, saying, “I guarantee I’m a Bruin. This is for life, alright? I love y’all. Let’s do this.”
