UCLA lands Madden Iamaleava’s teammate

Another get for UCLA.

The recruiting effort of head coach DeShaun Foster and his assistants has not slowed down. The UCLA Bruins football team got another commit on Thursday. Three-star recruit out of Downey California, Jace Brown has committed.

Brown made his first visit to UCLA back on June 21st. He had offers from other programs such as Fresno State, Kansas, Minnesota, and Nevada, among others.

The wide receiver has the potential to be a tight end in college. His big frame and strong hands match his strong ability to move quickly down the field. Last year, as a junior, he played in 13 games and caught 46 passes for 560 yards. He was able to catch six touchdowns as well.

Brown announced his commitment to the Bruins on July 4th via X:

Greg Biggins, a national recruiting analyst at 247sports had this to say about Brown:

Brown has had a strong off-season and established himself as one of the top receiver prospects in the West Region. He’s not only added size and grown to a solid 6-4, 200 pounds but is quicker and more explosive athletically as well. He had a solid junior season but has taken his game to another level this Spring. He shined at the Under Armour Next Camp in Los Angeles back in March where he looked very good in the drills and had a strong testing day as well.

This is the 15th commit for the Bruins for the 2025 class. Brown is the first wide receiver of the class, and is teammates with Bruins quarterback commit Madden Iamaleava.
