UCLA jumps to No.1 in AP poll

UCLA on top!

The UCLA Bruins women’s basketball team stunned No. 1 South Carolina on Sunday at Pauley Pavilion. It was a 77-62 final for the Bruins and a statement win in a showdown of top-five teams.

On Monday, the new Associated Press top 25 poll was released, and the Bruins were at the top of the charts.

UCLA is on top of the poll for the first time ever, and it’s a massive boost for the Bruins as they have begun the year undefeated with wins over Louisville and South Carolina.

UCLA is off until Friday when they play Tennessee-Martin in Hawaii.
