UCLA hoops lands in top 10 of transfer portal rankings

UCLA makes the list.

What the UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team has done in the transfer portal has been fun to watch. They have made plenty of rankings this offseason and will be a tough team in the 2024-2025 season.

Brad Crawford of 247Sports compiled his transfer portal rankings. It’s no surprise that UCLA made the list, and they are No. 10. Here’s what Crawford wrote about the Bruins:

Mick Cronin knows UCLA must show improvement next season and he’s putting most of his eggs in the transfer portal basket. The most notable addition is former USC small forward Kobe Johnson, who opted to make the crosstown move to the rival Bruins. A new point guard is also en route to UCLA with former Louisville standout Skyy Clark being the first of six transfer additions since the start of the cycle. The Bruins also landed a trio of power forwards for size — Tyler Bilodeau (Oregon State), Eric Dailey (Oklahoma State) and William Kyle (South Dakota State).

Teams in the Big Ten ahead of UCLA are Michigan, Washington, and Indiana. The top of the list is Arkansas with new head coach John Calipari.
