UCLA dealing with low energy at practice

Low energy is not a good sign for UCLA.

The UCLA Bruins football program is off to a 1-1 start and fresh off a disappointing blowout loss to Indiana. It was the first home game with DeShaun Foster as head coach and the first game as a member of the Big Ten Conference.

In Week 4 is a tough road game against the LSU Tigers, and it turns out the energy is still not there for UCLA, per Ben Bolch of The Los Angeles Times. Kaylin Moore, who transferred from Cal, shared about the energy.

“UCLA cornerback Kaylin Moore said coaches huddled the team up a second time early in practice because of low energy.”

That is a big concern for UCLA, who faces a tough top-25 showdown against LSU in Baton Rouge and then plays Oregon and Penn State in the following weeks. It is a discouraging season early on for UCLA, but something needs to change in Westwood, and quickly.
