UCLA Bruins women’s soccer preseason Big Ten favorite

The UCLA Bruins women’s soccer was voted as the team to beat in the Big Ten for the 2024 season.

The NCAA women’s soccer season is about ready to begin. The UCLA Bruins women’s soccer team is starting their first season as members of the Big Ten.

On Tuesday, the Big Ten preseason poll was released. Coming in on top was the UCLA Bruins. They are the team to beat when it comes to the Big Ten standings.

Last season, the Bruins finished the season with a 16-2-1 record. The Bruins went 9-1-1 at home and won 10 out of 11 Pac-12 games. The lone non-win was a 1-1 tie against Stanford.

In the NCAA Tournament though, the Bruins struggled to find offense and got beat by UC Irvine 1-0.

The 2024 version of the Bruins will open up on Thursday, August 15th. The Bruins are on the road at Long Beach State. The first Big Ten match for the Brins will come on September 14th on the road at the Oregon Ducks. After a trip to Indiana and Purdue, the Bruins are home on September 26th against Wisconsin.
