With the College Football season nearing, the rankings and preseason honors continue to roll in. Chris Vannini of The Athletic put together rankings of all 134 College Football teams. Coach DeShaun Foster and his UCLA Bruins were placed right in the middle of the pack. The Bruins came in at 68th overall.
The Bruins checked in at 33rd a season ago. UCLA is on the list just below Army and Air Force, and just ahead of the Baylor Bears and Michigan State Spartans.
At the top of the list are a couple of Big Ten foes. The Ohio State Buckeyes are the top team on his list. Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks come in at 3rd. In between them is the Georgia Bulldogs.

Old Pac-12 rival Utah is 11th, while current and city rival – the USC Trojans check in 33rd. Hawaii, who the UCLA Bruins open the season with on August 31st comes into the season ranked 102nd on the list. The Big Ten opener against Indiana on September 14th features the Hoosiers, who are 81st in the rankings.
