With the latest addition of Trent Perry, the UCLA men’s basketball team jumped up in the latest recruiting rankings. Mike Regalado tweeted out that 247Sports listed the Bruins 36th in the latest rankings:
The Bruins now have two commits with the addition of Perry. Eric Freeny from Corona California signed, and will fill the shooting guard need Perrt was ranked 33rd in the country, and fourth best at the point guard position. Freeny is 66th overall and was listed as the 13th-best shooting guard.
The Bruins also have done well with the transfer portal, with the 9th best ranking, as they have six fresh faces coming in and eligible:
Dominick Harris from Loyola Marymount, William Kyle III of South Dakota State, Tyler Bilodeau of Oregon State, Eric Dailey from Oklahoma State, Kobe Johnson from USC and Skyy Clark out of Louisville are all immediately eligible to join Mick Cronin’s 2024-2025 squad.
Cronin seems to be pleased with his addition and had great things to say about the addition of Perry, and the roster is loaded for next season.

Overall, the Bruins are ranked 22nd in the nation.
