UCF’s players wore social media handles on their spring game jerseys and it was so cool

UCF is bringing Twitter to the football field

UCF has never been afraid to get a bit more creative than most with their jerseys and game day gear.

For example, a few years back they debuted these incredible ‘carnival blue’ space-themed uniforms that had a bit of a futuristic vibe to them. It’s like they came from the Jetsons or something.

They were back at it again on Saturday for their spring game. Instead of a big jersey change, though, they did something different with the player’s names.Β They didn’t use their names on the back of their jerseys. Instead, they had players wear their social media handles.

It was a pretty cool look.

This is pretty fun for a spring game. Could we see something like this once the actual season rolls around? Probably not.

But who knows? It’s UCF. Clearly, they like to get creative.
