The Philadelphia 76ers will finally have their dynamic third-year guard return to the lineup. After missing 18 games due to a left foot fracture he suffered back on Nov. 18 against the Milwaukee Bucks, Tyrese Maxey is officially active and he will return to the lineup on Friday.
The Sixers are in New Orleans to take on the red-hot Pelicans for the third of a four-game road trip and the return of Maxey will be a big help. Philadelphia has been hor as well as they have won eight of their last nine games, the loss coming on Tuesday against the Washington Wizards, and they will look to begin a new winning streak with Maxey in the fold.
With that being said, he will be on a minutes restriction which makes sense considering he hasn’t played in over a month and is coming off a foot injury.
Doc Rivers said Maxey won’t play a lot of minutes tonight, but wouldn’t too his hand on if he will start or come off the bench. https://t.co/ik46as9TjF
