While the Philadelphia 76ers are in the middle of preparing for the Eastern Conference semifinals after they swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round, they have time to watch the other playoff action.
On Monday, they watched history in South Florida. The eighth-seeded Miami Heat rallied from a double-digit deficit to knock off the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks, 119-114, thanks to a record-setting performance by former Sixers star Jimmy Butler.
Butler set a Heat franchise playoff record with 56 points. He shot an efficient 19-for-28 and he drilled three 3s. Twenty-one of those points came in the fourth quarter.
Tyrese Maxey took to Twitter to give his reaction to Butler’s huge night.

Joel Embiid, who played with Butler in Philadelphia and is very close with him, also gave his former teammate a shoutout on Twitter.

Butler was absolutely scintillating in Miami. To set a Heat franchise playoff record considering the players who have played there is very impressive.
