The Philadelphia 76ers are a team that has been putting in a lot of work recently. They have been going hard in training camp as they really have not had a choice due to the fact that they have a lot of work to do in a short amount of time and then they had a game on Tuesday.
The Sixers then gave the team a day off on Wednesday after practice Sunday and Monday before the preseason win on Tuesday over the Boston Celtics. It makes sense considering the players need some time to rest their bodies after going so hard recently.
There is one player who wants to get back to work quickly, however, and that was rookie Tyrese Maxey. The 21st overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft got back into the team’s facility Wednesday morning and did some work by himself.

Maxey played a key role in Philadelphia’s win on Tuesday as he scored eight points with three assists in the fourth quarter in order to help the Sixers pick up the win. The team finishes up the preseason on Friday against the Indiana Pacers. [lawrence-related id=40265,40259,40256]
